Let me introduce myself: I live in California, love productive crafts, and creative expression. As a hobby I paint, draw, garden, woodwork, etc. During a normal week I spend about 40 hours working in the world of agriculture and sustainability. I didn't go to school for art. I took about as many art classes as your average college graduate. I attribute most of my skill to free time and doodling in class. My dream is, however, to get good enough to eventually have art as a supplemental income or even more. | | About art: | My story:
I loved art since I could hold a crayon. With my parent's help, I sold my first art in a local shop when I was about 10. Since then I sold maybe $25 dollars worth of art and donated 20 pieces. For the most part, this has been a hobby on the back-burner, but I am trying to see what happens when I turn up the flame and bring it forward. Amongst those who have seen it, my art has received good reviews. Please let me know what you think, both positive, negative, and constructive.
Where It's At:
While admiring an artist, I asked him how he came to be so good. He told me just choose one thing and do it over and over again and you will eventually get good at it. That's what I'm working on. In the mean time, please enjoy and take these products of my self-education. If you are interested in obtaining originals: I would be delighted to give away the majority of my art.
