He first picked up an art brush at the age of 13 since then he has been painting. He has featured in many competitions in art an emerged successfully. He studied in Access high schools calabar, Oladimeji school Ile Ife, fortune high school uyo. He emerged as the best graduating students in technical drawing, best graduating student visual arts, over all most creative student during the 2007/2008 academic session. Akan David was mentioned as the enigma of art and tagged " the ultimate genius " by the reputable cloud9ine magazine. A raw talent . | | About art: | The art style of Akan David is intrinsic it comes out based on what he intends to achieve or feel about a subject. I work from the steps of abstract art, to the portals of impressionism unto the abbey of realism. I am moved by the works of the renaissance masters and contemporary painters like Hossana Raphael and Bassey Ndon for his hues and colours. |
