| Age: | 52 | | Location: | Nowa Sól, Lubuskie, Poland | | About artist: | Eryk Maler - e`ryk (e`roar), creator of the Theory Halo-Impressionism, (b. 1959), an independent painter and art theorist independent. | | About art: | Eryk Maler, (1987-2012): THE HALOIPRESSIONISM THEORY: In the eye of the painter, an area of color and virtue has an undeniable influence on an adjacent area changing it significantly. Transformation proceeds in the opposite direction, both with regard to a temperature of a color and with regard to a virtue. This means that the lit detail is surrounded with the contrastive halo, and other halos, that is, glimmers are repeated rhythmically, fading gradually together with the growing distance from this detail. The best painters in their best times notice not only, so to say, contrasting layers, which, with regard to virtue and temperature, are located in the side from an object or detail, but also even – layers located between an object or detail and the eye of the painter. This concerns both the space in the reality, and the space on painting surface. Of course, as every of many already propagated painting theories, this one cannot be applied utterly; still, it is important for the painters to understand it and apply it ad hoc and in a way that makes the painting effect confirm it. The Haloimpressionism Theory – often serves for the painting, which is a continuation of Impressionism, hence the term: Haloimpressionism.
