Ron Wilson resides in rural east central Indiana and has been a professional artist for over thirty years. For eight years Ron owned and operated Spotted Feather Studio and Graphics and exhibited his work at several shows and competitions at the local, regional, national and international level winning awards at all levels of competition. In the past Ron has been represented by The Playhouse in Tuscola, Illinois, Country Connection Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, The Navajo Gallery Hamilton, Ohio, West of Soho Gallery Cincinnati, Ohio, The Russell Gallery Nashville, Tennessee, Lightfoot Publishing Mayfield, Kentucky, and The Blue Heron Gallery Liberty, Indiana. Ron has also had three one-man exhibitions at Indiana University East in Richmond, Indiana.

Ron’s works are in the following corporate collections: The Beckett Paper Company Hamilton, Ohio, Bank One, Star Bank, The Richmond Baking Company Richmond, Indiana, Lightfoot Publishing, D & D Shoe Company Mayfield, Kentucky, and numerous private collections. Mr. Wilson presently has eight offset limited editions with two being sold out, available originals, and limited edition Giclée (zhee-klay) prints. Presently Ron is self represented.

While expressing his art in various mediums, Ron’s subjects remain true to life and consist of landscapes, wildlife, and various other subjects. Ron paints subjects that are real to him physically and mentally. Whether it is a simple Indiana landscape, wildlife rendering or a complex Western Art piece, he paints what he feels. Ron attempts to convey the feelings associated with the place or subject with the viewer. Hi considers it an honor to share with you that talent and blessings that God has touched him with.
