The compositions in this series use as background the public telephones located at the most central point of Athens, Omonoia Square, which constitute a means of communication between 2 people.
The figures in these images can neither disassociate themselves from the city's daily routine, nor can they assomilate into it. Nonetheless, they are an integral part of the metropolis, as they breathe its air. on one hand, they insist on looking up towards the starless sky, while on the other they are compelled to navigate its uneven sidewalks. People, who only by their existence keep the wind of change blowing through the urban landscape. |
