I grew up in an artistic family, so I feel lost without creation and/or creators around me all the time... | | About art: | Painting and Drawing: I've flirted with several styles...more recently I've become interested in mixing the method of collage with the techniques of painting....I like to rip things up and put them back together....all of my works have layers of paint as well as thoughts....they are allegorical analogies of human emotion and relationships....
DIY Fashion: I love the idea of taking old things and making them new....Using the idea of recycling, I use materials like t-shirts, old pants, skirts, etc and make them into something else...i don't use patterns (other than, occasionally for inspiration), and i try to use pins as little as possible....so, for me sewing is alot like sculpture in process and technique... |
