| Eligibility | In recognition of the primacy of the written word in all three Abrahamic faiths, we are seeking artwork that incorporates words, text or letters and that expresses a commitment to interfaith understanding, coexistence, peace and cultural exchange. We seek creative ways to depict these values. Artists from all faiths are invited to participate.
We seek original artwork including painting, drawing, calligraphy, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass, textile, and mixed media. All artwork must be the original creation of the artist submitting the artwork and should include some text or letters (any language) Entries will be judged on their relevance to theme, creativity and quality of execution by a committee representing the Faith Trio congregations. Up to five pieces of art from each artist may be submitted. Artwork must be ready to display. In order to be accepted all flat artwork MUST be suitably framed or otherwise ready for hanging with wire or cord stretched across the back. | ||

| Eligibility | The competition is open to South Florida artists only, both amateurs and professionals working in all mediums of art, including but not restricted to painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, mixed media, digital art, film, installation art, fabric and printmaking are welcome to submit. Artists are welcome to submit individually or as a collective. All submitted artworks MUST be original, created by the person/art collective who enters the competition. The theme for this group exhibition will remain open but special attention will be given to professionalism regarding technique and presentation of work. It is responsibility of the participant to pay for shipping charges, both ways. Completed portraits will be 24” X 24” or 48” X 48” inches in size on canvas. The complete collection of portraits will become an integral part of a National Rainbow Memorial honoring the lives of the slain in order to educate the public about violence and hatred directed at GLBT people.

| Eligibility | MIA is a monthly series screening the artist's moving image. Submissions are accepted on a revolving basis and there is no entry fee. Submissions received by the 15th of the current month will be considered for the next month’s screening.
While there is no thematic requirement for submissions, upcoming programs will focus on memory, nationality, the mechanics of dreaming and relationships with food. Moving image art includes experimental film, video art, installation art, performance art, essay films and animation. MIA is projected on a digital system, please mark your submission clearly if your project requires special equipment. The four horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in just eight verses of the book of Revelation, which is the last book in the bible. The four horsemen appear when the Lamb (Jesus) opens the first four seals of a scroll with seven seals (which is described in Revelation chapter 6). As each of the first four seals are opened, a different colored horse and its rider, is seen by the apostle John as described in Rev 6:1-8. First seal is opened: a white horse appears, its rider held a bow (conquest). | Eligibility | SUMMARY OF “Bustes en Rose” EXHIBIT
October is Chicago’s most eventful month. It is Chicago Artist month, breast Cancer Awareness month and Fashion month. So we are Excited to Announce “Bustes en Rose” a local group art and fashion exhibit inspired by breast cancer awareness. The “Bustes en Rose” exhibit is not your typical exhibit, it pushes the envelope by combining the creative energy of artists and fashion designers that have decided to take a stand against breast cancer. Every artist and fashion designer in the exhibition will create a bustier/corset based on their interpretations and experiences of the affects of breast cancer. The opening reception will anchor as the main fundraising event with the art exhibition and Milan style runway show (Some selected wearable works will be featured in the runway show during the opening reception). The remaining days of the exhibit will allow guests to purchase work and continue the fundraising efforts. | ||
| Awards | The chance to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness, and to have your work on display/publicity or possibly chosen to be worn in the Milan Style Runway Show. Opening Reception : Friday October 19, 2012 6pm-10pm (This date coincides with our 3-day Bridgeport Art Walk. So this event will be Highly attended.)
